RRB NTPC signature resizer (30–49 KB)

The Centralised Employment Notice CEN No. 06/2026 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) was published on 7 October 2026. Para 14.5.1 sets the signature rules. Scan the signed paper at a minimum of 100 DPI. The file must be JPG or JPEG only, between 30 KB and 49 KB, and at least 140 pixels wide and 60 pixels tall. On the form, the signature sits in a box 35 mm wide and 20 mm tall, and the image should be centred in it.

Para 14.4 covers the photo. You do not upload a photograph. The application captures a live photo with your webcam or phone front camera, against a plain white background, with no cap, mask or glasses. Taking a picture of a printed or on-screen photo gets the application rejected. That is why this page has only a signature preset.

Most signature limits are a ceiling. RRB's is a narrow band with a high floor. A neat signature on white paper at 140 by 60 pixels weighs only a few KB, far under 30. The notice only sets a minimum pixel size, so a larger image is allowed. The tool starts at 35 by 20 mm at 300 DPI, which is 413 by 236 pixels, and tries the highest JPEG quality. If the file is still under 30 KB, it makes the frame larger, keeping the same shape, until the file is inside 30 to 49 KB. The result line shows the final pixel size.

Many resizer sites still quote an older “photo 30–70 KB, 320 × 240” rule for RRB. That does not apply to CEN 06/2026. Use the numbers in the table above, and check the date we last read the notice.

The notice lists them: a signature by someone else, a non-white background, ink that is not black, a signature in block or capital letters, a poor or unclear image, a signature that is cut off, an image that is not a signature, a blank image, or a thumb impression in place of a signature. Your signature must also match the one you give at the exam, document verification, medical exam and appointment, so sign the way you always do.
