AEP File Viewer
Open After Effects .aep projects without After Effects. Nothing is uploaded.
What this tool does
AEP File Viewer opens an After Effects project in this browser and shows the version that saved it, every composition and layer on a timeline, the fonts and plug-ins it needs, and any missing footage.
How to use it
Choose an .aep project or an .aet template, or drop it on the box. Nothing is uploaded.
The After Effects version and computer that saved the file show at once, then the full project a moment later, with a progress line for big files.
Read the main composition on a timeline, or pick any other composition from the list. Each layer shows its type, timing, parent, effects and switches.
Check the Fonts, Plug-ins and Footage sections, copy the font list, and download a text report or a CSV of every layer.
