What this tool does

Extract selected PDF pages into a new file in your browser. Pick the pages, download only those. Nothing is uploaded, no signup or watermark.

How to use it

  1. Choose the PDF. Pages start selected on this extract page so you can trim the set.

  2. Click to adjust the selection (Shift-click for a range), then tap Extract selected.

  3. Download the file ending in -extracted.pdf. Nothing is uploaded.

Common uses

A bank statement, a single annexure, or three pages of a scanned passport pack often need to travel alone. Split PDF can cut by ranges; Extract Pages is for picking pages from the thumbnail grid and saving only those.

Extract downloads immediately from the selection. If you also need to reorder or insert blanks, switch to Organize PDF on the same engine and save with Organize PDF instead.

Extracting pages in the browser is useful when a portal wants only an annexure, a single certificate, or the signature page of a longer pack. Upload-based extractors create a copy on someone else's disk for minutes or days. Here the selection is copied with pdf-lib inside the tab, the new file is named with -extracted.pdf, and the original on your disk is untouched. Pair it with Rotate PDF if an extracted scan is sideways, or Merge PDF if you need to join several extracts into one attachment.

This extract page opens with every page selected so you can deselect what you do not need, or Clear and pick only a few. Shift-click selects a range. The same worker that powers Organize PDF rebuilds the file, so bookmarks and links that still point at kept pages are preserved as well as pdf-lib allows, and metadata such as title and author rides along. On a phone, thumbnails load as you scroll, and Extract selected stays in reach under the primary Organize PDF button when you want the full plan instead.

People also use extract when a single email attachment must stay small: pull the two pages that matter, leave the hundred-page appendix behind, and attach the short file. Because the work stays local, a slow connection only affects loading this page once, not uploading a large scan twice. After the engine has loaded, you can even go offline and finish the extract.

Private, and the limits

The original and the extract stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded. The worker that copies pages never sends the file to TaskNinja or to a CDN.

Password-protected files need Unlock PDF first. Signed PDFs lose a valid signature after any change, so extract from an unsigned working copy when a signature must stay valid on the full original.

Extracted files are ordinary PDFs. Open them in any reader, attach them to a form, or merge them later. No watermark is added and no account is required. If you need the pages in a different order inside the extract, rearrange on Organize PDF first, select those pages, then Extract selected.

FAQ

How do I extract pages from a PDF online privately?
Choose the PDF here, select the pages, tap Extract selected and download. Processing stays in your browser.
Does extract change the original file?
No. Your original file on disk is not modified. You download a new PDF with only the selected pages.
Can I extract pages out of order?
Selection order follows the page grid order. To change order, use Organize PDF, rearrange, then Organize PDF or Extract selected.
Is there a limit on how many pages I can extract?
You can extract any non-empty selection. Very large files depend on the memory on your device.
Can I extract pages and also delete others in one go?
Extract selected downloads only the selection. To save a file with pages removed, Delete then Organize PDF instead.
