What this tool does
Diff Checker compares two versions of a text in this browser and shows exactly which lines were added, removed or edited, with the changed words marked inside each edited line.
How to use it
Paste the first version in the Original text box and the second version in the Changed text box. You can also use Open file on each side for .txt, .csv, .json, .xml, code or any other plain text file.
Choose options if you need them. Ignore case treats Total and total as the same, Ignore extra spaces skips spacing and indentation, and Ignore blank lines skips empty lines. Mark by words or by characters.
Tap Compare text. The result says how many places differ and how many lines were added, removed and left unchanged, then lists the changes side by side or in one column.
Copy the differences or download them as a .diff file, the standard unified format used by diff, Git and code review tools.
